Previews suggest Jason joins with Julia to stay in attack mode and Tai becomes a target.

Well, he lost his ally and his idol so I'm thinking he's going to be in butt kissing mode.

The finale is May 18 so 3 more episodes after tonight, that would mean 4 going into the final episode and a final 2 at tribal. I think, but I'm not certain, that the players know how many will be at final tribal going in. That would make sense with Jason and Scot's solid alliance. There was no one they could take to F3 with them that wouldn't win. They figured they could just knock everyone else off then let the jury vote for the least objectionable. Also in post eviction interviews Scot has said he knew he was likely playing for second because they jury would be very unlikely to give a former pro-athlete the million. He also said that he felt like Jason had the greatest need for the prize money.

They had their chance. Only gonna be harder to take Tai out?

I cannot believe Tai did not play his idol. If I knew I was getting votes, I would play it. I think he got lucky tonight. I guess sometimes you take the risk, and he won on this one. I agree with MJ. He is going to be tough to take out now.

Tai last chance to use extra votes is next week I think. After it gets to 5 I think he loses that advantage.

So Tai can use his extra vote next week and then use his idol the week after that, right? Or will he have to use them both next week when it goes down to five? I was thinking he bought himself a spot in the final four with his gamble tonight. He got super lucky.

Cydney and Michelle should have played the we're voting out Tai role a little harder. They should have made it impossible for him to not play his idol. Granted he gambled and won but his gut told him he was safe. They should have given him bubble guts and they didn't. Could have been a million dollar mistake.

I'm gonna say they switch it up next week and everyone votes out Tai. It's the smart play. You do it, and he uses his idol, then Jason goes home, and you can get Tai out next. He doesn't use his idol, he goes home, and they can vote out Jason next. At worst they have to get the idol out, or he's guaranteed to the F4, and probably wins the whole game.

If you were going to have to run back and check the board again, why wouldn't you at least randomly guess at a key? If you were wrong, you'd have to run back anyway but maybe you could randomly guess right. I didn't understand why the first two girls didn't at least try a random key before running back out.

Truth. I didn't think about that. They should have at least tried.

Don't forget about Tai's extra vote. If he is smart he will use them one at a time and not at the same time. He should use the idol first unless he has to play the extra vote next week. He should make the final four if he is smart.

No doubt. He hasn't done anything expect hang on. Hell, he gives up during most of the challenges!

LOL! When Joe hit those 2 rings in the reward challenge we were all like… Wow! Joe actually accomplished something for the first time this season!!

 

Bummed that Julia went home - it should be a good finish!
