I thought that Aubrey had just rubbed some the wrong way more than Michelle had...funny thing though if this vote had been 4 weeks ago I think Tai may have won in a rout.

As I was watching Tribal I thought they all were deserving. As I watched the after show and thought about it more, I think Michelle was the least deserving of the final four. She did nothing till the final 3 votes or so. All of the others played and made moves throughout the game. Some of the jurors let their personal grudges dictate their vote and that is wrong.

Mark is my favorite Survivor "player" ever. A freaking CHICKEN lasted a month and a half. Humans were STARVING and didn't eat him. Well played homie...

If Michelle didn't dominate the end of the game, sure. Yes she floated a little, but that is worthless if she doesn't finish strong. Well deserving winner...

I agree deserving. I thought others deserved it more. I would have voted Aubry.

I guess I am officially clueless about pop culture. I had no clue who Sia was until I Googled her.

That's the beauty of Survivor. You make big move in the hopes that the people who were victims will see past their hurt feelings and vote for you. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't.

Michelle definitely got the winner's edit IMO. Started to pick up on it about 5 weeks ago.

A few thoughts before I read everyone else's posts:

I was a little surprised that Aubry didn't bring it home. I thought she was better and who I probably would've voted for. However, some years, game play doesn't matter a whole lot and you just don't want to make enemies. To Michelle's credit, she did come on strong towards the end.

 

I can't believe after all of these years, they still come up with a new/major twist. Crazy that they've been sitting on it for 7 seasons, just waiting til they thought it would be a good time to have it used in a season. While I do like the twist, I almost think it's potentially too powerful. That's a ridiculous advantage in a close final vote.

 

A little surprised at the level of animosity from Neal towards Michelle, but she certainly made the right decision.

It would have been my demise, but no way that thing doesn't get eating. Especially if I'm Jason after Tai flipped.

I don't know if I'm thrilled with the concept for next season. I'll still watch every second of it, but the whole Millennial thing will probably become annoying to me.
