If Scot feels bad, why didnt he just give Jason the idol back? Who cares if it was in front of everyone?

It's in the rules. That person is out of the game at that point and cannot provide assistance to someone in the game i.e. give them an idol.

This season has really taken a turn for awesome. The producers have to be patting themselves on the back as I believe both of the new twists worked out amazingly last night. The super idol honestly couldn't have came into play in a better way for TV viewing. The choices in the reward challenge definitely added some intrigue.

As to the episode, I think Tai made the correct move but he should expect votes soon as he now as a super big target on his back. Aubry put on a FREAKING CLINIC on how to turn someone against their alliance. Man was that good and honestly last night was quite the "winner's edit" for her.

I want you to be comfortable. This is your game, you're making a big move. You have 3 people behind you. I'm positive

Hell, I was ready to flip on my alliance of MJ AND PP92 after that speech...

:lol2: :lol2:

Aubry is making moves!!!!

Time for Scot to get annoyed by Debbie at the Ponderosa!

Yeah, I bet Aubrey makes the final 3; they seem to show her interviews the most often.

I really hope Julia/Jason don’t take out Mark (Tai’s chicken), next week. LOL

I'm going to go against the grain in here. Tai assured that he won't make final 3 IMO.

He has an advantage and an idol, and everyone knows it. He's also been really good in competitions. The first time he loses an immunity challenge, he's going to be targeted.

Tai's options:

A. Give his idol to Scot leaving him without an idol in an alliance that is hated by everyone else in the game and is plotting to vote him out and keep Julia instead.

B. Keep his idol for protection in a later vote and make a game-changing move that will win him respect from other players and separate himself from the hated Scot Jason alliance.

Option B is much better IMO and I believe it gives him a much better chance of being in the final 3.

I haven't watched the whole episode, just the tribal. Seeing the cockiness leave was incredible. Scot sitting there fully expecting to get Tai's idol was very fun to watch. Jason now has NO CHANCE to win. No matter who's with him in the finale he can't get enough votes to win.

The only question now is will he go full on Russell mode on Tai in retaliation.

I think Jason could have a shot. Depends on who he is in the end with. At least from the edits, Scot is the one that came the worse of the two. Scot would vote for him. He could play up when he took care of Cydney and maybe get her vote. He could use his family's story and all the medical issues to pick up some sympathy votes.

I'd vote for Jason over Julia, Joe, & Michelle (is that here name...she's been such a non-player that I don't remember)

So if Tai had given his idol to Scott to make the super idol, the others would only have been able to re-vote for either Tai or Aubrey. Tai would have for sure gone home in the re-vote so he was pretty smart to hang onto his idol!

Correct, but only because he voted Scot out. If he would've stuck to the original plan, and voted with them, Aubrey would've went home and they would've had the numbers going forward.

Very true. He voted for Scott so giving up his idol to save Scott would have gone down as the biggest bonehead move in history!

There would have been a re-vote if the super idol was played? If that is correct, the super idol's value is a lot less than I thought. I thought the votes for Scot would be thrown out and whoever was left with the most votes would be gone.

They would be....In the case of this past episode that was 2 votes Tai, 2 votes Aubrey, so a revote.

My point was if Tai had stuck to the plan and voted Aubrey with Jason & Scot, and then he gave Scot the super idol, boom Aubrey goes home and Scot, Jason, Tai, and Julia control the game.

I forgot it was a tie vote. Would there have been a revote if it was three votes for Aubrey and one for Tai?
