This article (from yesterday, one day after the game) says "Also, All-Pro receiver Antonio Brown, who was put in concussion protocol after a hit to the helmet by Burfict following an incomplete pass, is said to be fine and should be able to play against the Broncos."

 

So maybe he was faking like Pacman said... (I don't believe it but I don't know how he can be fine right away if he was really out cold)

My son and I both commented that he booted more balls out the endzone on kickoffs than he typically does as well. The elements didn't seem to bother him at all. As a matter of fact, his tryout at Heinz after the rotating kicker fiasco at the beginning of the year (which put them in this wc game in the first place IMO) was done in a downpour with the 2 other candidates for the position and he was perfect in a very tough venue under very tough conditions.

 

 

please don't try to equate kick offs to pressure season ending fg attempts. I make 3 ft putts all the time until there's money on the line.

In addition to going from hero to goat in lightning speed Burfict hit his pocketbook pretty hard between the fines and the lost promotional fees.

I wasn't. Only that his leg was solid in the elements. And the pressure didn't affect him on the 35, which was also season ending, for the opponent.
