Mason County 79 Bracken County 74

Nice game by both TBC Elite boys. Mason not looking too cohesive as a team yet but Bracken's role players are starting to have an impact. I think the game with Brossart Friday is a big one mentally for BC. At 3-3 now, playing close in games they could have won but didn't and winning 3 "give mes", I expect them to come away with a convincing win Friday against a better than expected Brossart team. Could be a pivotal game for them even though it's early.

What a great game. Bracken needs that "signature" win to help propel this team, and I think it's coming soon. The days of pushover Polar Bears are over.

Ugly win for the Royals but I guess a ugly win is better than a pretty loss. From what I saw most of Crawford's 32 came when he had a full head of steam driving to the basket.

I now tally at least 10 maybe 11 teams with an almost equal chance of playing in Rupp Arena in 2016. This is shaping up to be the most interesting season of my lifetime and possibly in history, great time to be alive in the Bluegrass.

Well played game by both teams. It's unfortunate some would wanna call this an ugly win for Mason Co. It's a good win for Mason Co. Gonna be a great district to watch this season.

Bracken Co is getting there and once they get over that hump of winning a close game look out. They are learning what it takes to win right in front of eyes

Totally agree. Think these two see each other again??

Why would you stop something that the defenders couldn't defend?

Just depends on the dreaded draw. I'm sure at some point they will meet again.

He drove when Pig was switched off of him. Whenever he tried to drive on Pig he was either blocked or stripped. Garrison didn't play well on either end and Sweeney/D. Williams were in foul trouble so they couldn't take a chance on that.

If you thought that was a clean played game by the Royals then you sir need glasses. Sloppy turnovers kept them from extending their lead to double digits several times.

Their was sloppy possessions on both sides. But let's not give credit to the defense or anything. Lol this is free comedy

3pt shooting was the difference in this game, Mason was 9 for 20 or 21, Bracken handle there press with ease tonight, something I was worried about.

Several are echoing my sentiments. Once Bracken figures out how to pull this kind of game out...

...and it will probably be sooner than later.

I am so distraught! Had blood pressure problem because of Augusta/Pendleton game last night. Dr. refused to allow me to go to Igloo tonight and advised me to stay home and follow on trusty old BGP updates. Holy smoly, where were the updates? My blood pressure just recorded 198/110! I am about to stroke out waiting for stats and details.

Take it easy, the fun is just beginning.

*There*

But the defense wasn't what caused the sloppy turnovers, just bad passes. Bracken got Mason's C game tonight and still came up short. I thought the Polar Bears did everything they had to do tonight to get the win. Just fell short at the end. All the credit in the world to them.

Pig Williams is the best OVERALL player in the region, just like the discussion with O'Mara and Cummins on the girls side. Crawford has the scoring numbers but if I would take Pig over him any day because he makes everyone else around him better, a great defender, and is a great floor general.
