I agree that mason should've worked it into their bigs last year. However you can't leave your big on the baseline the entire game. You have to find a way to get him the ball at the ft line like they did the first game. As far as the game vs Augusta He slowed it down and got several touches to the Johnson kid but he wasn't getting it done that night. But why not press Augusta that year...heck they went 6-8 deep with Bach scoring out of a 1-3-1 defensive set. He sat at the center circle and dribbled the air out of the ball Until he was ready to go to work
And he did!!!! As far as the state title.....if I recall that was a pretty good team with a lot of length and of course mr basketball d miller on that squad
Not saying ohearn isn't a good coach but you don't put your kids as 9-10 yr old into a system where you push the ball and press the opposing team.....then when they become soph juniors and seniors.... You hardly play like that. Just saying
