Track the Reds (Second Half)

The same could be said about the relievers as well in Cincy.

Only if they stink at a miserable level. It will be around 2010 when Bray and Majewski can leave on their own...

Bray grew up a Reds fan. He's extremely happy where he is.

The bottomline is I would much rather be on the receiving end of a Jim Bowden trade. I read a quote were he said something to the effect that "anytime he can get an everyday player for a pitcher he is in favor of it" His reasoning was that everyday players have a better chance to stay healthy.

This might explain the lack of pitching in the Reds system.

Might???

3 hits, a walk and an HBP in 1.1 innings for Milton... :creepy:

Majewski continues his good pitching as he allows a run scoring single to Carlos Lee in the 7th

4-0 Brew Crew after 6 1/2.

Griffey,Rich and Hatte do up.

Griffey starts the 7th off with a rope to center.

Just 2 hits for the Redlegs

Aurilla then kills the rally by grounding into a DP.

Phillips homers to start the bottom half of the 8th.

Still the Brew Crewleads 4-1

BP goes yard for the first time in over a month...

7-3 out of the break. Big series in Houston up next...
