September 13, 200620 yr Stiff elbow... That's not good. By the way I hope Jr. didn't get his toe jumped during the celebration at home. :scared:
September 13, 200620 yr LaRue was excited wasn't he? Seriously, the guy has been slumping most of the season, and gets a huge hit to propel the Reds to a much needed victory and he sulks. His teammates were far more happier than he was. That was a downer to me, to see him be so stoic...and selfish. Other than that ...huge win.
September 13, 200620 yr Brad Lidge strikes again for the Astros. He gives up two 9th inning runs, and the Cards win 6-5. :irked:

September 13, 200620 yr He also declined the request for a post game television interview. What a freaking baby. I can just see it now. Jim Day: Hey Jason. Congratulations. We'd like to talk to you on Reds Wrap about your big hit. Jason LaRue: Jason LaRue isn't going to talk to anyone right now. Where have you guys been all year? Jason LaRue at 80% is better than most catchers, and Jason LaRue has seen you talk to David Ross 3 or 4 times this year. Jason LaRue wants you to talk to David Ross now.

September 13, 200620 yr It certainly can't help. I assume he was slated to start on Sunday also for you. Yup. He was the key to my week based on his last 3 outings...
September 13, 200620 yr It sounds like there's a little more than "stiffness" going on with Eric Milton's left elbow. He said he felt it grab on one pitch in particular and didn't sound terribly optimistic heading into a full exam tomorrow. "It’s been sore for a while, but in the fifth inning I felt it on one slider," he said. "I don’t know what to say. It’s painful and we’ll see what the MRI says tomorrow." Milton has never had arm trouble before. If this injury is serious, the Reds are looking at a weekend one-two punch of some combination of Jason Johnson, Sun-Woo Kim and Chris Michalak for Saturday and Sunday starts at Wrigley Field. Could be a very costly W, OR it's Homer time... :sssh:
