Dante and Trent Kincaid were the two best in NKY. Not close.

I know you can't put to many from one team on the list but it is hard to imagine Brian Carter LB and Cam Racke QB from SK not making the all NKY team.

Racke have a better season than Morgan? Beat them twice head to head.

Surprised Covington Catholic's junior linebacker Alex Shelton didn't make the list. Led team in tackles and believe he was one of the top 3 in 5a if not the top, 112 so I've been told?

 

Also believe Hendrix should be first team.

Nothing against the other players but Hendrix and Kincaid were absolute "lockdown" corners, it's not even close.

No problem with the list except for the following :

 

Hendrix on 2nd team- impressed me more than any other DB this year. Talented and athletic

 

 

No Shelton - really surprised at this. Would love to see his stats compared to others. I know for sure he has more than a few of the other LBs beat.

 

No Racke- the kid can play the QB position. And he can play it well.

 

IMO some seniors are making this list over some underclassmen based off seniority alone.

 

With that being said, congrats to all players mentioned and honored. All a bunch of well deserving athletes.

No Nathan Brown?? Dante/Brown was the best QB/Receiving combination in the Northern Kentucky. No one ever believed in that kid, and apparently they still don't. For a 1st year qb, I think he did pretty well.

QB position is probably the toughest to make. Lots of talent. Lots of big numbers put up.

Gentlemen (and any ladies) - if we're going to say "Player X should be on the team" we have to be man enough to say instead of whom.

 

All the players who made it or were close to making it are good players so we are not saying a kid can't play. We're just saying that we think Player X is better than Player Y.

 

Pic from CCH can play. I just think Hendrix is better.

 

Otherwise this just turns into a "this kid is pretty good, too" thread.

I assume you mean passing yards.

 

His total yardage including rushing was behind a few others. I guess it depends on how you rate a QB. Just passing or combo.

 

2048 yards passing for a first year QB is very impressive.
