December 7, 201510 yr Only problem I have with this kid is leading UK to believe they had a chance. He was Bama all the way from the get go. Have no issue at all with him choosing Bama, just should of made his intentions clear in the beginning. I think he loved the attention from UK. Should of saved them a lot of time and money. Maybe if that great recruiter of a coach UK has could close a deal.........

December 8, 201510 yr Funny that so many people get so upset so easy these days. With social media type comments especially. I don't care that he chose Alabama and quite frankly he never even mentioned Kentucky in his tweet. He could have been talking about any school. Even if he did mention UK specifically I still wouldn't have a problem with it.
December 9, 201510 yr He did get through untouched on the blocked punt, but I think they credited the block to #42 Keith Holcombe. My point was that he was just a small fish this year. Time will tell if he can actually get the job done when it is his turn to carry the big load. Small fish managed to not get redshirted and saw some action this season as a true freshman. I'd say he's off to a good start at Bama. I'd say at worst he'll be the #2 RB next season for a national championship contending college football team.
December 9, 201510 yr The funniest thing about this, is all the UK fans that he is supposed to be talking to, will still be rooting for Bama anyways, because they have sworn allegiance to the SEC. Haha! I LOL'd at this because it's so true! And what is Uk fans laughing about if bama were to lose? At their 5-7 record while Damien now has a SEC title ring...? Am I missing something?

Not being a jerk at all. At that time, that is what I believed. However, I learned some things after the fact that confirmed my current stance.

I'd say at worst he'll be the #2 RB next season for a national championship contending college football team. He played more than special teams as well. I saw him spread out wide on some formations late in the season.
