The Prevailing thought in the coaching industry is that as South Carolina barrels toward a hire that should play out this weekend is that either Arizona's Rich Rodriguez or Auburn's DC Will Muschamp will be the next head coach at South Carolina

I'd go Rich Rod if I was USC...I have no faith in Muschamp as a HC

UA AD says RichRod is staying.

Will Muschamp has agreed to take the job. What a terrible hire. He was awful at Florida. don't understand why colleges hire and fire the same guys. Good news for UK football.

Every single SEC East hire this year have been downgrades.

Looks like Rashan Gary will not be going to Columbia.

Lol. His Mom just getting her toes in these shark infested waters. Best of luck to them.

Rich Rod said no, they took what they could get.

Which is as bad as it gets. Even in Muschamp's first season at Florida when they screwed up and won 10 games by some miracle, you could see he was way in over his head. Similar to how Brady Hoke won about the same amount in his first year. It just never seemed they were good. Solid on defense, but offensively they were putrid. McElwain is having a similar type season, but I feel he has some sense about him.

I agree on McElwain, and then you hear how when players come into his office he makes them PB&J sandwiches and will even cut the crust off the bread if that is how they want it....sounds like he should be a pre-school daycare director somewhere. On top of that he looks like Alvin from The Chipmunks.

Terrible hire IMO. But if its the best you can get, its the best you can get.

I refuse to believe it is the best they could get. Just the good ole boy network at its finest.
