So now your jumping on Mayfield's coat tail's since the ADS didn't beat NewCath

I have to say what a great job coach Wagner has done this year at NewCath. I saw them play a couple times at mid-season and they were average at best. He really has them playing well in the playoffs. Sounds like they're going to have to play great to beat Mayfield though.

I think that is what makes them so dangerous, I didn't think they could hang with Danville. I think that NCC having been to BG so many times further makes them dangerous though I think MF should win

One thing to remember with NCC is that they use the rest of the season to prepare for the playoffs. That means playing guys only one way or sparingly playing them both ways in non district games against schools much larger. Then they tighten that up in District games and then tighten it even further as they go deeper in the playoffs.

That strategy has worked to perfection once again this year.. Seems like they're always peaking during the playoff run and getting better by the week as the playoffs progress.. Maybe they're fortunate to not have to get thru the west side of 2a, which is very difficult, but, the team that does have to run that gauntlet can easily wear down by the time the championship rolls around.. I know OB Cath and Desales were both very hard hitting and physical teams and that can take it's toll..

I don't know much about either team, but I have to pull for NCC in this one.

Sunday 1pm 4qrts... Scoreboard has final word... I pull for Mayfield and have been concerned about teams like OC AND DSS

... Not so much about NCC but they are there for a reason and not to be overlooked... I am sure Coach Morris and Coach Dew will not... Good luck to all participants... Lets keep this thread clean and hope for the same on the field...

No Lawrence didn't get ejected from school. Someone commented in the Danville game thread that he should have been ejected from the game. Which wasn't the case at all. Worse case scenario maybe a penalty, being ejected, not even close.

Thanks for clearing that up. I was excited. I watched his highlights he seems to be a strong contribution to NCC... Not that I really want to see any kids get ejected... That would of just been a stress relief to our ol... But at the sametime glad he is participating...

Now are Danville just being sore losers or is NC really playing dirty?... I hate that between teams... Desales was seriously class act. Every play opposing players were always helping each other up... Mayfield same way... The only time i seen Mayfield get upset is when we finally just have heard enough from the other team... Murray and McCracken usually the worse... I really hope for good clean sportsmanship...

No NCC doesn't play dirty, but everyone has their own opinions. I Will say we've had our fair share of penalties this season, but they have decreased significantly. The person stating that NCC plays dirty in the Danville-Newcath thread wasn't even a Danville fan. He is a fan from LCA. Just sour grapes I guess. I will say that the Danville fans on here were very respectful after the game. I would agree the referees were horrible but they were equally horrible on both sides. Lol

I hope for a good clean game... That win or lose everybody walks away proud of their performance and holding their heads high...
