I'm having trouble finding 4 teams for the Playoff

Featured Replies

Here's a key: SEC winner so Florida or Bama

ACC winner so UNC or Clemson

B1G Winner so Mich. St., Iowa, and maybe, just maybe, Ohio State.

Big 12 winner as long as they declare a winner, so Oklahoma, Ok St., or Baylor.

If Big 12 names co-champions: Notre Dame

So basically anyone inside the top 11 still has a chance.

Florid still has to play FSU. So with that being said, when FSU beats Florida, even if they beat Bama (won't happen) they won't get in.

This is why at least 8 teams are needed for a playoff. Just to make sure that the chances are great that the top 4 teams make the playoffs.

16 teams is ideal.

Crazy that ND is in the discussion. Down 8 starters due to season-ending injuries. Plus Prosise is now out for the next game.

OSU lost at home to a team playing a backup qb. Notre Dame lost on the road with their backup making his third career start ever. Notre Dame also has played a tougher schedule. So at this point no OSU does not have every reason to be in as Notre Dame.

Yep. That military circuit and BC and GT and ...... are just brutal.

Check the strength of schedule for yourself. But hey who cares about facts when you have a bias opinion.

The scenario that no one is talking about.....Penn State beats Michigan State (longshot), Michigan beats Ohio State, then Michigan beats Iowa in the B1G title game. Does a 2 loss Michigan get in, or does the B1G get shut out of the playoff?

There's a good reason. :D

They would get shut out of the playoffs.

Chaos reins!!!!

Who goes if this happens?:

N Car loses to NC State. Clemson loses ACC Championship game.

ND loses to Stanford

Michigan State beats Iowa in Big 10 Championship game

Oklahoma St. beats Oklahoma

Florida loses to Florida State. Florida beats Bama in SEC Championship.

My rankings for going into this weekend ....

1. Clemson

2. Alabama

3. ND

4. Oklahoma

5. Iowa 6. Ok. State 7. Mich St. 8. Ohio State

Note- I believe that the Big10 champion will be n the playoff....Probably Iowa or MSU or should Sparty be upset by PSU, Ohio State has shot (very doubtful but it's there)
