Danville has improved a lot since the Boyle game, only problem is they haven't had a good test since. Danville's district and region just doesn't have a team any where near NCC. I think Danville can beat NCC, but its going to take great effort with no turn overs. I would really like Danville's chances better if it was played in Danville. I want to see how the Ads react when they get hit in the mouth. Coach Clevenger has instilled a toughness in the players they haven't had for a long time and I think it will show Friday. The Ads schedule hasn't been as tough as NCC, but they have been focused and absolutely destroyed their comp coming down the stretch. thse games could have been in the 70's and 80's if not for the mercy rule, running clock. I will take Danville in a close one 17-14, with Steber kicking the game winner in the closing seconds.

You will take I-75 into downtown and take I-71 as soon as you cross the river, it is also Fort Wasington Way. Take that I471S. Take the first exit off of 471. It is for Newport/Bellevue. Take a right off of the exit. Go back under 471 and take the 1st light and turn right onto Riviera Dr. (It is the right turn between Party Source and Bellevue Vets). At the end of Riviera take a Right onto E. 6th St. You will see Newport High School right there. Parking the is under 471.

You want to avoid the "cut in the hill" at all cost.

 

This route will take you no more than 20 minutes.........

 

75N to 275E

 

you'll go about 7 miles then use the left lane to take exit 74B to merge onto I-471 N toward Newport/Cincinnati.

 

you'll go about 4 miles then take Exit 5 for KY-8 toward Newport/Bellevue. Turn right off the exit & right at the light Riviera Dr. (The Party Source).

 

Follow Riviera Dr. till it dead-ends at stop sign, turn right at stop sign then a quick left into Newport High School.

IMO you will be eating your first sentence one the Breds take the Ads to the shed on Friday.

275 is a better suggestion for safe traffic suggestions, especially if it is raining.

And if all the big developers in Northern Kentucky get their way and build the Eastern bypass bridge then you can drive through New Richmond Ohio and take 30 minutes longer to get to Newport.

Danville may have improved since the Boyle game, but most other quality teams have also. You do realize that Danville may have played in the weakest region of any of the classes during the state playoffs. That is not their fault that the teams were so weak this year. They did go ahead and take care of business and win out. Now is when you are able to tell how much you have improved.

Thought that it was was evident that I do realize the caliber of comp Danville has played. I don't know if its the weakest region in any class though. Are you a Boyle County fan? Also, NCC predistrict schedule was strong but it doesn't look like their 2a schedule was that strong.

Lloyd was ranked in the top 10 all year and Covington Holy Cross was in the top 15 by the end of the year

Not sure I guess it would favor NCC most because they have a power running game, unless the slick ball causes them to fumble. Danville has played in several rain games and it didn't seem to bother them.
