I asked this before but didn't see a response: How much will losing the Walker kid that broke a vertebrae Friday affect the Ads? Did he play offense, defense, both?

Defense only, He played Cornerback, just a Freshman but a really good one. He will be greatly missed but Danville has some pretty good replacements.

And injuries like this is why he never will choose to play football. He doesn't even want to play out of fear of missing basketball.

Sorry I had wrong year, don't know why I thought that. Scary situation, I guess it will be up to His family, not sure I would let Him play again, The Doctors may not release Him to play football. I saw a show on TV where they interviewed Mike Ditka, Bret Favre, and Troy Aikman, they all said they would not let their sons play football considering all the new information out about concussions, and spinal injuries happening in football.

All good. Only reason I knew is because he and my son have played basketball against each other for two years and counting.

 

That is true also. I know he has a long rehab process coming up. Has to wear a neck brace for 3 months I think.

The Boyle game may be misleading from the fact that very few of the Boyle starters played in the 2nd half of that game. The score was 41-7 at the half with a running clock. The Boyle reserves had a first down inside the Danville 10 yd line with 3 minutes to go and Chuck Smith had his JV QB take a knee 3 straight snaps to basically end the game. Take out 3 big plays in any game and it can change the complexion of the game.

I can say that if you watch the highlights there a quite a few starters in well into the fourth. Not that it mattered

Throw all the "bickering" out the door, I think we can all agree this has the making for a really good game.

Not even well into the 3rd quarter. Some starters didn't play at all in the last half against the Ads. Danville kept their starters in the entire game. I don't blame them because they were trying to develop something positive from the game and not be completely embarrassed. The final score could have been much worse. Danville's last tw0 scores were against 2nd and 3rd team defenses.

Cox, Yates, #59 20 52 were all in when Ray scored in the fourth att go look it up on highlights. Pretty sure they all start on d and that's all I could see.

Lloyd is not in the same uiverse as Danville, I'm going by their season stats on KHSAA and they tell me that NCC weakness on defense is against the pass numbers don't lie.
