Lafayette last year team had more D1 kids. They played serval first year starters and a couple of freshman on defense. Now the supporting case is better. Plus Mason Alstatt and Walker Wood are playing at a high level. Yette!!!!

Sr. Tucker Mueller DE has 11 sacks 78 tackles. Sr. Blake Powell NT has 63 tackles 6.5 sacks. Sr. Dalton Finnell LB has 99 tackles 1.5 sacks 2 ints and 4 forced fumbles.

Lafayettes defense gives up 28.5 points a game. SK averages 40 points a game on offense.

I think in this case, home field advantage cannot be underestimated. SK brings a passionate, vocal following, especially to its home games. Every playoff game I've ever attended in Fayette or Scott County you could hear crickets DURING THE GAME. I don't think The Generals have much experience playing in a hostile environment and it could make them crack!

All Season long everyone talked about how overrated Lafayette is. How they are not a top 10 team, and yet they are going to semi finals. This team has heart, find ways to win, and is on a mission. I'm going with the team with the best QB...Walker Wood!! Go Yette!

Hoping that home field advantage pulls the Pioneers through this week. Would love to see this group in the finals. Lafayette has some talented guys but so does SK.
