Speaking of tailgating where is that taking place lol...save me a burger I wont be hard to find....I will be the guy in the T hat......probably hanging with the Neer faithful as well....

Depends on the weather as to tailgating. Rumor has it LaRosa's might be trying to put something together for before the game.

35 people picked Lafayette to win. 22 game win streak at home on the line SK all the way!

I watched some film from SK last 2 games and it looks like to me that Dillon Powell has an injury bothering him. What's up with that? He just doesn't look the same as he did when I saw him on film earlier this season.

This should be one of the best matchups in the state this week. I picked the upset last week and picking Lafayette this week but I also have great respect for Simon Kenton football.

I am not sure if Lafayette wins, but I did love the fake punt call last week. That took a lot of guts to call and execute. This may be the best game in the state

I laughed at this. Laughed at the skewed defense remark. Seeing as how you should account for those two game as equaling at least their average.

You say 20.5, I get 21.36. Add in the average of that to the teams you take out and it becomes 21.38. Let's face it, SK doesn't have the speed to score 70 or 60 on Lafayette. They MAY have the skill to drop 30+ though. If SK makes it to 35+ they win, if not they lose, unless their defense steps up big. Side note, SK's defense has only given up more than 15 once since week 2 and that was in a rematch against Ryle.

All I'm gonna say is SK can score, and their defense has spoke for it's self.

I have ZERO doubt SK can score.

I'm not a SK hater.

I was just merely pointing out that Lafayette's defense ain't exactly swiss cheese like some claim. They obviously found a way to slow down Scott County the second time around.

Point is ANYBODY playing Trinity and Scott County (twice) will see their defensive numbers suddenly skyrocket. Maybe not Male. Trinity didn't light them up either meeting.

And when SK played NOBODY near Trinity's and Scott County's level, SK doesn't have much room to talk.

Of course your defensive numbers should be better when you play an easier schedule.

Why on earth wouldn't they be?

I was never sold on Scott County. Highlands scored 20 plus points on them.

Highlands also scored about as many points (45-42) on Dixie as SK did.

Highlands also scored as many points (13) against Cooper as SK did (in both teams' most recent meeting against Cooper ... I know SK scored 26 on Cooper the first time).

But I doubt you're going to tell me that the Birds are on SK's level this year.

Based on those numbers, if you're not sold on Scott County or Highlands, you have evidence to NOT be sold on ... your own team.

Both CovCath and Highlands scored at least 28 on Scott County ... and both still lost by 20-plus.

Not sure why scoring XX points when you lose by three touchdowns is a good thing, though.

SK desroyed Highlands. Cooper/SK was 13 to 12. SK ran the ball and tried to control the clock. The field was a mess.

Scott County didn't destroy Highlands (pretty sure most of Highlands' points came AFTER SC already had the running clock on the Birds)?

Yup. Found it.

Scott County led Highlands 40-0 before calling off the dogs.

Looking at Lafayette's games they have gave up alot of points to average teams. Last 5 games they have gave up at least 21 points per game. In the last 11 games SK gave 23 points to Ryle the other ten games nobody scored more than 15 points.

I will say without a doubt that you won the lottery that Lafayette won instead of Scott Co. Very similar offenses. Scott Co. Would have ran all night on SK. But i will say that Lafayette has a huge line and if they can limit mistakes then they will make the trip to Bowling Green I think. But if they make mistakes SK will capitalize on them. SK is very good. Qb, RB, and good defense.

I agree turnovers win games SK plays good football and rarely turns the ball over. I know last year a lot of people said Lafayette would beat SK and SK had no problem. SK refuses to lose!!!
