Does anyone else find irony in an SK fan making this statement. SK takes padding their schedule to a whole new level.

SK has faced D1 qbs 3 times this season and sending them home with a loss.

Lafayettes defense gives up 28.5 points a game. SK averages 40 points a game on offense. :D

Lafayette's weak spot has been defense. If they have fixed that then they are a different team from most of the season.

It will be definitely be an interesting team. Does Lafayette have a receiver better than Lucky Jackson?

Bryan Station(the best team SK has played) put up 36 on SK, Lafayette has more talent than BS. I have seen SK play several times and they play very hard and are well coached but they dont have big-time speed. Lafayette is playing very disciplined football right now and will have to play with the same intensity as at SC to win at SK because SK wont beat itself. Should be a good game. TO's will probably be the deciding factor.

I think Northside hit the nail on the head here. Going to be a good battle especially if Lafayettes line matches up well with SKs. I'll give them the edge at the skill positions in speed.

And as is the case in most games the team with the least turnovers wins!!!

If weather cooperates I'll be at this game in rare form after "tailgating" with some Neer faithful. As much as I'd like to see SK advance...I'm concerned about their end this season!!! Leave it all on the field boys and have fun...

Speaking of tailgating where is that taking place lol...save me a burger I wont be hard to find....I will be the guy in the T hat......probably hanging with the Neer faithful as well....

To cold to tailgate but Larosas is right in front of SK.

Only when it comes from a Trinity fan.

Lafayette's numbers are also skewed because it gave up 165 combined points in two games with Scott plus the one with Trinity ... three games against opponents that would be ranked 1-2-3 on SK's strength of schedule (SK's best opponent is Cooper, which would rank fourth on Lafayette's schedule).

Take Trinity and Scott County -- two of the best offenses in the state -- out of the mix and Lafayette's defense is allowing 20.5 PPG (just one TD and an XP more than SK, which played a weaker sked).

I laughed at this. Laughed at the skewed defense remark. Seeing as how you should account for those two game as equaling at least their average.

You say 20.5, I get 21.36. Add in the average of that to the teams you take out and it becomes 21.38. Let's face it, SK doesn't have the speed to score 70 or 60 on Lafayette. They MAY have the skill to drop 30+ though. If SK makes it to 35+ they win, if not they lose, unless their defense steps up big. Side note, SK's defense has only given up more than 15 once since week 2 and that was in a rematch against Ryle.

All I'm gonna say is SK can score, and their defense has spoke for it's self.

I've been to that Larosas a couple times not bad pizza but its always packed, cant imagine what it would be like on game day

B-Dubs is right down the road. Both will likely be packed afterward reagrdless of the outcome.

If the rain clears up I am going to make it out to this one. Dillon Powell alone is worth the price of admission.

Simon at home should punch their ticket to Bowling Green. Lafayette giving up too many points. Hard to continue to outscore teams every week especially the deeper in the playoffs you advance.

Last year SK won 35 to 21 the game was played at Lafayette.

If you stop the run Scott County can't win. Lafayette has some good football players.

Not sure about this. Scott Co. Rushed for over 300 yards and lost. They did not scorein the red zone. If SK runs well they can win. Will be two very similar offenses going at each other and Lafayette is not the same team that played Trinity. They made changes to offense and defense after that game. Should be a good one.

SK had 300 yards rushing against a very good Cooper defense.
