Scott County didn't destroy Highlands (pretty sure most of Highlands' points came AFTER SC already had the running clock on the Birds)?

Yup. Found it.

Scott County led Highlands 40-0 before calling off the dogs.

Highlands blown out by Scott County - Story

That wss at the half BTW. I fewl that would classify as destroyed. Could have scored everytime they had the ball if varsity would have stayed in which McKee never does. Running clock equals the wnd of the night with varsity. That is why you never see hige individual numbers. McKee son was QB in 2014 and played only a half in about 9 of their 12 games. Same with RB

I agree turnovers win games SK plays good football and rarely turns the ball over. I know last year a lot of people said Lafayette would beat SK and SK had no problem. SK refuses to lose!!!

SK is doing what championship teams have to do. They don't best themselves. Turnovers and penalties kill you. Lafayette had like 160 yards in penalties in the first Scott Co game. They can not afford to do that to SK and think they can win

I think Northside hit the nail on the head here. Going to be a good battle especially if Lafayettes line matches up well with SKs. I'll give them the edge at the skill positions in speed.

And as is the case in most games the team with the least turnovers wins!!!

If weather cooperates I'll be at this game in rare form after "tailgating" with some Neer faithful. As much as I'd like to see SK advance...I'm concerned about their end this season!!! Leave it all on the field boys and have fun...

I love when you pick against SK! :D

Lafayettes oline against SK's front seven is going to a great match up.

Only when it comes from a Trinity fan.

I don't know what you're saying but if you're suggesting Trinity had padded their schedule that's laughable. SK on the other hand...

Trinity's schedule did get much easier this year, but he might not realize that's because Trinity was put in a new district, and all of their easy games were mandatory. The lowest ranked team they played by choice was PRP. I wished for another Cincy game this year, but that's not how things worked out.

I love when you pick against SK! :D

This game has a 2013 Butler feel to it....hope I'm wrong. I'd like to see the Neers win! Would even consider a trip to BG to support them!

This game is nothing like the 2013 Butler game. Lafeyette is a preseason top 5 team, they have more D1 athletes on this one team than SK has had in 10 years. SK got caught looking past a good but not great Butler team. Win or lose Friday night SK will have had their full attention on Lafeyette. The one thing you can say about this year's SK team is that they have been a model of consistency. I see no way that changes this Friday night.

Looks like the rain is now supposed to hold off until right around kick off. 50% chance increasing around 9-10 pm to 80%.

They both play as ends.

They both play as ends.

That's interesting. I'd heard Lafayette had been using them defensively. When I watched Lafayette they only played on the O-Line.
