November 20, 201510 yr They are currently 13-0 and playing even better than last season with.....a chip on their shoulder. They feel disrespected, especially by Charles Barkley, and are looking like the NBA version of the New England Patriots when they feel slighted. Soooooo....we all know they will play every team at least twice. They have already defeated the Clippers twice(looking at you CP3......) and the Grizzlies twice. One of the worst teams in the NBA took them to OT so that is a testament to how no win is guaranteed in the NBA no matter how bad the opponent is. They have the Bulls tonight so that could be the first loss for the Warriors except it is at The Oracle so odds are on the Warriors to protect their house. The usual cast of characters should beat them at least once I would think. You have the Spurs, Thunder, Bulls, Cavs, Hawks, Rockets(already lost once to the Warriors), Clippers all come to mind. They have already defeated the Raptors once as well. Is is there anyone else who can or should beat them? I know they won't go 82-0 but I do think they have a legitimate shot at chasing 72 wins. Who can beat them?
November 20, 201510 yr I have no idea. They are sickening right now. It's must see late night TV for me these days. I've never in my life seen a team in the history of the game shoot the ball like they can. I know there are plenty of NBA haters out there, and I used to be one of them (post Jordan up until a couple years ago), but if you can watch them and HONESTLY not be enjoy it; you need your sports fan card revoked.
November 20, 201510 yr I watched the 4th quarter last night. They shot 73% I believe. Omg They will go into a lull at some point all teams do. Right now they are on fire.
November 20, 201510 yr I'm going to say they won't win 70 games. No way they can keep this pace. In the NBA, they could lose any night and I wouldn't be too surprised.
November 20, 201510 yr I'm going to say they won't win 70 games. No way they can keep this pace. In the NBA, they could lose any night and I wouldn't be too surprised. Chasing 72 wins is foolish. They cannot afford to run themselves into the ground. I know they are young, but champions are not made in the regular season.
November 20, 201510 yr Looking at their schedule, the Kings are so up and down that they just may do it, though they don't match-up particularly well. After them, the Raptors, Celtics, and if it gets that far, the Cavs are my picks.
November 20, 201510 yr At some point I think the 2nd night of a back to back gives them their first loss...beyond that I think they'll win 60 games without breaking a sweat...so getting the next 13 to break the record won't be that big of a stretch...barring injuries.
November 20, 201510 yr Why doesn't some team literally knock the crap out of Curry and company, Pistons Bad Boy style? I think that is the only way to win against them..beat on them and be uber physical.

Believe it or not it would be easier on their bodies to get to 72 wins than the Bulls. The new scheduling is player friendly Witt less back to backs and smarter scheduling for east coast-west coast trips. The grind ain't the same.

November 20, 201510 yr With the new rules players would get fined and suspended for playing like the Bad Boys. No doubt, but I think it might be worth it to send a message. Just rotate who is going to be the enforcer during the regular season. A team could also be physical when on offense and make it look a little more subtle. Make Curry fight through screens and drive at him-drive right thru his chest- and make the ref call a charge, but hammer him while driving the ball to the basket. I think it might be a more subtle way than knocking him down when he is offense. "Curry Rules"

November 20, 201510 yr If teams can adjust their strategy to guard the perimeter, they may be able to limit them.
