I feel like this is one that may come down to the wire. I am pulling for Lawrence for selfish reasons. If they knock off West Carter, and if Belfry beats Russell, then the Pirates get to host the regional game next week. If West Carter wins, then Belfry has to travel next week.

I am very excited for this Friday Night. It will be a excellent game and great match up. Both teams have great athletes and both teams are pretty similar in size up front. Both teams have had good season but neither have a statement win but both teams played their quality opponents on their schedules very good. Lawrence played Belfry very close but Belfry turned the ball over like 5+ times I think. If West is given 5+ extra opportunities to score against a team... I like our chances as well. West Carter has nothing to lose at this point in the season if they come out fast and physical they will beat a good Lawrence team. IMO lack of execution on West Carter's part could loose this game for them not Lawrence physically beating them up to a victory.

Lawrence did play Belfry very tough, and that is typical of this series. Belfry fumbled 9 times and lost 7 in that game, but Lawrence gets some credit there and they did capitalize on some of them and turn them into points.

 

Kiser and the Dalton brothers are as good as anyone in this region and I was impressed with the OL of Lawrence too. I wish I could be there to watch this game, should be a good one.

Agreed on having a tough time picking the winner here. I took West, but this seems to be a very even matchup on paper. At least from my perspective it seems that way.
