As usual the OOC schedule will do nothing to prepare them for the SEC.

So, they're higher percentage wins. Get to bowl game and get more practices. In return the team builds a better foundation. See Rich Brooks era for example.

Just seen that the Southern Miss game is a home and home. Kentucky will make the return trip to Southern Miss to open the 2017 season

Looks like 6-6 now, could be 5-7 or, with some luck, 7-5.

If you had to live in the SEC, you'd schedule NM State too.

6-6 makes the .500 bowl though.

Whew. Once again really stepping out the with that brutal OOC schedule.

Kind of like the National Champs playing Hawaii, Northern Illinois, Western Michigan?:lol::lol:

It's a tough life being the "National Champs" lol. I bet you would pawn your children to have that title for a day.

Sorry but you would lose that bet big time.

However, try to stay on point and tell me where I'm wrong.

Because I like you 75 I'm gonna make you an honorary Buckeye champ for today!

Back to topic nobody really plays anybody, OSU will feature one big game a year, they caught Vtech on a downward swing. Next year they go to Oklahoma if that impresses you at all.

SWEET!!! I'm number 1! I'm the best! Deal with it losers!!

Whew, that does feel good, thanks! :D

I agree that nobody plays anyone, that was my point. If the top programs won't beef up their schedule there is no way UK is going to do that when it's all they can do to get by an EKU level school. The steel sharpens steel argument only works if the team is steel, UK is not.

I did have hopes for the Vtech game and I am impressed with the OK game.

UKs schedule is fine the way it is right now.

Why should they go out and play a strong OOC schedule? If you're building a program the goal is to get to a bowl game, so why play a team that is potentially going to beat you and not get to the six wins needed?
That's exactly why the program is in the terrible shape.....no confidence to play a better OOC schedule.....feeds down to players in the program and potential recruits
