I know them and have heard that but football is his first love, I doubt he's done forever but I wouldn't be surprised if he took off next year.

If he plays again I'm thinking he'll only play offense...maybe WR. He is a great kid and they're an awesome family. They just want to be careful. Time will tell.

I know from talking with some Anderson kids/parents that he has had some issues with injury, and this last one was pretty bad. I'd hate to see the kid get really hurt. As you said, I have heard nothing but really nice things said about the young man, he is well liked by the Anderson community with those that know him.

Some of the Boyle/Anderson kids are buddies.

We have 2 able bodied replacements that have stepped in nicely. And we can still throw it if need be.

I heard #1 for ACMS got hurt...hope the kid is okay and can play tomorrow night.

I am fairly close to the Purples program. Little Vito Tisdale, current 8th grader, is real deal. So far, he has been best player on field about everytime he has played. Very special. This is his third year on the 8th grade team. Really has it all. Lots of potential to be a great one. Should be fun games to watch.

3rd year?

Yes. 3rd year for Tisdale at BG for 8th grade team. High school wouldn't let hI'm play up in fear of getting hurt or taking a spot from underclassman. If you haven't seen him play, it's pretty amazing. I think he will be a 4 star, possibly a 5 before he quits wearing purple and gold.

I saw him some last year. He's good. It will be fun watching him and Kyle go at it. It will be an entertaining game. I can see the scoreboard being on fire for this one.

Heard CAL beat Mayfield 16-14 in 8th grade to advance.

But my question comes in the 7th grade playoffs.... CAL was facing Bowling Green and it was scoreless with about 3 minutes left. CAL turns over on downs at the BG 20. Three plays in a row there is an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty and a player was ejected on each of the penalties (three players total, including two of CAL's best players offensively and defensively). I was watching the game on Prepspin and I saw absolutely nothing at all. I had great video stream and the announcers alluded to maybe the CAL players saying something but it didn't look like it.

Aided by those penalties, they scored with 44 seconds left and beat CAL 8-0. Anybody there and know what actually happened?

Johnson County 8th 47

Meade County 8th 22

Johnson County and RB Cody Rice will meet Bowling Green and RB Vito Tisdale in the Division 1 8th Grade State Championship game tomorrow. Both of the aforementioned kids are very special athletes. Should be a fun game to watch as JC is going for its 4th overall KYMSFA State Championship.

Heard from someone who would know that Boyle Co, Bowling Green, Belfry and Johnson are the four best MS teams in KY.

Wow! I would love to hear what happened. That has to be some serious stuff to get ejected!

Owensboro has to be mentioned as well. They beat Bowling Green this year.

After seeing Belfry today I gotta say I don't think they could handle Boyle Co.

Boyle's staff did their kids a disservice then not playing and settling for a Conference Title.

That's like Boyle HS choosing not to play for a 3A Title because they win a District Title and finish ranked #1 in the CKY Power Rankings
