Yeah, both programs have been dogged. now both will be making a playoff run collision course with the winner having a chance to make a run at the title.

 

I hope the Colonels stay healthy against Scott County for their last game. The game has zero playoff implications....? Tough to take on a great program like that the last week when you want to be healthy for the playoffs. Do you lay-up to stay healthy? or keep the killer instinct going and go for the win? I say the latter.... its good practice.

Did Ziegelmeyer return to action for the game? Curious also if the younger McGinness saw the field?

To be fair, Dixie has not had the annual "one of the top 1 or 2 teams in NKY" every year either.

I can't remember when HHS or CCH haven't both always been given the top 2 or 3 spots in the area even though HHS would hardly play any NKY team.

 

Dixie is a team that has never been considered a top team in NKY. 1 run doesn't make a pereniel top team.

Not sure what your saying but we both know most of the NKY schools ran scared of HHS for the previous ten years. There's a good reason they were number one every year, no one was even in their area code most years save for Ryle and SK one year each. CCH was a clear number two for many of those same years.

Btw, running scared is not how I Would put it. There are always 2 sides to every story and the HHS and CCH folks always have their side.
