Projecting The Final Four This Week

Featured Replies

I will also add in there that I do not think, at this point in time, that Ohio State will go undefeated either. I could easily see them losing their last two games of the year. I don't think that they will, but the way they have played week in and week out it is hard for me to have confidence in them.

I know. 4 teams from 2 conferences. These are the best four teams.

Clemson? plays in the ACC

Utah? not a chance

Baylor? Weak conference as well

TCU? See Baylor

While I personally agree that these are the 4 best teams, only 2 of those teams will get in unless something absolutely crazy happens. I think the SEC Winner and the B1G winner are absolute locks. I also think there is a 0% chance that a Pac-12 team gets in. Assuming the ACC winner is undefeated, I think they get in. Then I believe even if Baylor and TCU both have a loss, the winner of their game will get in no matter what. 0% chance the committee leaves them out. I think the final four will be watching 4 games (Ohio St. v. Mich. St., LSU v. Bama, Clemson v. Florida St. and Baylor v. TCU) and the any team that isn't playing in one of those games can kiss their chances goodbye.

The SEC West has losses to a MAC and an AAC school' date=' and the Bama loss to Ole Miss looks worse every week. Yet you think they get 2? Bartender, I will have what this guy is having.[/quote']

Fan boy-ism.

FSU

Utah

LSU

Michigan State

Well scratch Utah. And FSU. Clemson and Ohio State flexing their muscles today.

Clemson

Ohio State

Alabama

Baylor

Bama still looking mediocre, maybe OSU, LSU, Clemson, Baylor?

Toss up Bama/LSU. Not sure either are really good.

Me too.

Don't know much about Baylor, what does the neck injury to their starting QB do to their prospects moving forward? Was their scoring machine offense dependent on that QB, or can their backup step in and keep them rolling?

OSU

LSU

Clemson

Stanford(dark horse if Baylor falters)

I thought Baylor was the best team in America until their QB got hurt.

So my top 3 after yesterday are LSU, OSU, Clemson.

I saw someone say LSU may not be good? They may not be great but to question if they are good is silly. They are one of if not the only team that can match OSU with NFL talent.

As a Notre Dame fan this season is going to end up being the season of what could of been. Only loss is by 2 points at Clemson during a hurricane with freak turnover. USC who ND beat by 10 hammers Utah. The same Utah who hammered Michigan. 7 key players out for the year for ND. Just depressing.

Clemson is the wildcard. They should be in if the season was

over right now.

If you watch Baylor, you know their QB getting hurt will have very little impact on the way they play. They will still score a lot because of the system, not the QB. I don't know why but I just have this strange feeling Notre Dame is going to get in the playoff. They weren't even on my radar last week, but I just get this strange vibe from them. So this week I have,

1. Ohio State v. 4. Notre Dame

2. Clemson v. 3. Alabama

Ohio State

Michigan State

LSU

Alabama

No change in my final four.
