So, Kim Davis and her "legal" team lied about what was discussed with His Holiness.

There may also be a little "reassignment" at the Nunciatures office.

Two words: Liberty Counsel

Two words: Liberty Counsel

What in the world did they think would happen when word got back to the Vatican about the lies that she and the Liberty Counsel told?

From the article:

Vatican spokesman Federico Lombardi said she was one of "several dozen" people who had been invited by the Vatican ambassador to see Francis.

:lol2: Ya don't say...

"The Pope did not enter into the details of the situation of Mrs. Davis and his meeting with her should not be considered a form of support of her position in all of its particular and complex aspects."

How will Jesse try to spin this one?

I assume he'll ask Mrs. Davis what she wants him to say before he says anything. :D :lol2:

No spin. Thats as vague as was their statement.

And just a FYI, Jesse does not need the Pope nor any of you to dislike sin( not the person).

No spin. Thats as vague as was their statement.

What was vague about their statement? They said it wasn't a private meeting, the Pope STILL doesn't know the details of the situation, and that their extremely brief encounter was not to be taken as support of Davis. Pretty much kills this thread.

And the credibility of Davis' attorneys.

Per an article on WHAS:

"He (Staver, Davis' lawyer) says Vatican personnel initiated contact with Davis' camp on Sept. 14 saying the Pope wanted to meet her. He says Vatican security picked her and her husband up from their Washington hotel and brought her to the Vatican embassy. He says Vatican officials told her to change her hairstyle so she wouldn't be recognized since they wanted the encounter kept secret.

Staver disputed a Vatican spokesman's claims that the Pope only met with Davis in a receiving line. He said the couple was in a room with only the Pope and Vatican personnel."

Somebody is lying...

^ just a guess, maybe the ones who lied about the 100,000 Peruvians who were rallying for Kim?
