Bengals 28 Ravens 24

Now to Dalton. I have been very hard on him all off season. However I love how he responded today. I love the look of intensity he had at the end of the game. Usually he has that scared not sure what to do look in his eyes. However today he had that look like he knew he couldn't be stopped and I loved it.

I am still not sold yet because he has to keep proving he won't fold in big moments. However I did like what i saw from him and Green too.

He was a gamer today. Mostly good Andy today.

Now for Jeremy Hill. The Bengals with all their wrs hurt last year did alot more under center and used the fullback more. This year the Bengals have basically been in the gun all year without a fullback so they could have all their receiving targets on the field. I think that is why Hill has seemed to be less effective this year and why Bernard right now does do better for them. With them being in the gun alot it definitely fits Bernards skill set better.

I think once the weather gets colder we will see the Bengals do some more power running and that is when Hill will look like the stud he did last year. Definitely nice to have two good running backs.

Can't complain. Nice win. Who dey!

AJ's first TD was why he is one of the best in the NFL. Refused to go down and made a great run after catch.

Touche...

Glad to see resilience. I didn't have a problem with going for it at end of 1st half. Maybe a little arrogant. Don't like how they came out of half-time. Who's the OC?

AJ with a huge game. Dalton came through big time in the 4th qtr! Dalton needed that game after costing the Bengals 14 points with his turnovers. Big way to come back.

Only real concern still has to be clock management by Marvin.

I would say Kirkpatrick and Jones in man to man coverage is a major concern. Baltimore threw at or right behind Dre on 10 straight passe. He didn't get a hand on one

I honestly do believe that if the Bengals had a better Coach they could be Super Bowl contenders.

They'll be super bowl contenders if the offense stays healthy and the defense tackles much better than they did today.

They are far from Super bowl caliber right now. last 2 weeks they allowed 2 not very good teams to come back and almost beat them. You have to be able to put teams like that away and keep them down.

They struggled guarding Smith today. However they have pretty much shut down or held in check two other receivers the first two weeks who has been tearing other teams up. Cooper for Oakland has tore it up the last two weeks and Keenan Allen has had good weeks except against the Bengals. So I don't think the coverage is as bad usually as it was today. Most of it was poor tackling anyways.

Mostly it was Smith. He was an absolute animal. I believe he is the toughest receiver I have ever seen. Ward was tough but nowhere near the receiver as Smith.

Looks like Andy's turned the corner — Andre Smith was right!
