What's The Worst Physical Pain You've Ever Experienced?

Featured Replies

For me...kidney stones. I had two of them at the same time. One was 5mm and the other was 7mm. Felt like someone was pulling a thornbush through my urinary tract.

Two kidney stones are a close second.

I've heard some women say kidney stone pain was worse than childbirth. Others say it's close, but not as bad.

Kidney stones are really bad but when they are out, the pain is immediately gone. Not so with birth. The healing time is pretty painful as well, especially if there was any cutting involved.

There's a lot of variance to kidney stones...some are big, some are small, some are smooth and round, some are jagged and have irregular shapes. That being the case, I would imagine sometimes it would feel worse, other times, not at all.

Watching soccer.

have heard the kidney stone thing. Had a bruised kidney once but it was more of a full pain. Tooth aches can be painful. Luckily got smart and get good reviews now.

Tell her it's ok, I was married. :sssh:

When I was 20 I had abscesses on both tonsils. An ENT doc had to drain them while I was still awake. Excruciating pain, especially after not being able to eat or really drink anything for a couple days.

The time I pulled/strained a muscle behind my shoulder blade, and the time I broke my ankle are close as well.

Yeah man, my dad had them when I was in high school. It looked/sounded awful. I remember hearing him in complete agony.

Have had two bouts with these damn things and to say "painful" is an understatement, both of mine were only 4MM. The last attack was a year ago and the excruciating pain hit me when I was near Cooper High School delivering........I set speed records and broke many traffic laws making my way to St. E's on Turfway. Then I had to wait 30 minutes before I got a pain-killer shot......BTW, the language I was using waiting for the shot was NOT what you would hear in church. :lol2:

You could throw in Golf, NASCAR, & the NBA as well for me.
