When Call-a-Mart would deliver your groceries and Charles' Chips would deliver your pretzels?

When the first TV remote control came out and it was the size of a brick?

When you put cassettes into an 8-track adapter so you could play them in your car?

(related to the above: Having to use the "rew" and "ff" buttons?)

Burger Chef & Jeff?

Marathon Bars?

Add-a-bead necklaces?

Stirrups on baseball uniforms?

I am sure I will think of more.

Getting up way too early to drive to Cincinnati (lived 2.5 hours away at the time) to be on the Uncle Al show with Captain Wendy. I went twice, and got to do the twist on top of the dog house. The other time I got to dress as an astronaut(found out about blue screens). Those marshmallow cones looked great on TV but actually didn't taste very good.

Remember when we got into trouble in grade school, had to stay after school and wash the blackboard and clean the erasers (which were done outside and if we pounded them on the building we'd get another day after school)?

Remember when you had to perform a task/job at school in order to get reduced or free lunch?
