Russellville also got some big news recently. I read in the bowling green daily news that Jr. Rb/S Johnny drumgole who had 64 rushing attempts for 706 yds and 10 rushing td last yr is set to return as soon as the khsaa

rules him eligible. He moved to Atlanta during the offseason. But most important, it's adds another player to their defense which will be the key. They must improve defensively if they want a chance to play on the carpet.

I would say a lot of them do. IMO Brett Slusher is the best defensive player in NKy, at any class. He gets a lot of pub as a WR because of his knack for the big play, but he is an absolute tackling machine from his LB position and runs like a deer, clocked a 6.6 60 in baseball. That's at least one.

Very tough getting it down to 11. Some deserving players are left off this list.

Isaac Wallace (Jr) is a stud lineman from Raceland. He is a 3 year starting lineman. If he played in NKY, you'd all know his name. Ask any coach in our area and he would be a unanimous pick, guaranteed.

Issac started at DT his Freshman year alongside Seniors Mac Boggs 6'4" 270lb, Austin Manis 6'2" 260lb, and Alec Riser 6'0" 285 lb. At that time many considered that line along with OL Senior Nevan Johnson 6'4" 270lb and C Lucas Bradley 6'0" 295lb to be the best line in school history. That can be argued because there has been some real good OL/DL Lines over the years at Raceland.

But for Issac to be able to start with that group speaks alot as to what kind of talent, strength, and football knowledge he possesses. Very smart and very quick for his size.

I hope to see him get eligible.. I didn't know he left. I was expecting big things out of him this year.

Glad to hear Robinson will be back, if he is the kid I am thinking of he is a truly gifted player.

Kendon Young: 454 rushing yards on 49 attempts and averaging 20 points a game. Also comes in with 37 tackles from his OLB spot. Winner of the State Class A 100 meter race last spring. he has a 3.2 GPA and a college ready ACT score.

Robinson is certainly in the top 11. Glad for him that he might make it back. Best wishes to him.

Johnny can be a game changer for Russellville. With an already good backfield he could put them over the top. Russellville only has 6 seniors this year so I'm hoping they can step in to mayfield's shoes and be beechwoods rivals the next couple of years.

I've not seen enough 1A teams to fill out a full 11 man roster, but tops on my list thus far has to be Campbellsville RB Kendon Young--smooth, explosive and great sense of the field. At QB here in central KY, Matthew Hagan has great size and runs with authority at Bethlehem. Half lineman, half receiver is TE Josh Lifson at KCD. He's 6 3 205 and just a Sophmore, has 5 TDs in 4 games. Hope I will add to this list once the year is over and I've seen a few more 1A squads.

Makes you as qualified as most of the rest that are chiming in. Doubt many of them have seen any or even half the kids they put on the list

Russellville will be hard to out score with drumgole back they are also big up front backfield is loaded and Drumgole will help the defense tremendously he needs to be top 11
