I personally might rank the top 10 a little differently but for this thread, I'll use the current BGP rankings as a guide. I really don't feel like we have seen enough Friday night lights to get this right, but this will be fun to take a stab at it.

Belfry

 

Lexington Catholic

Central

 

Caldwell County

Paducah Tilghman

 

 

Corbin

Elizabethtown

Russell

 

 

Bell County

 

I think Boyle is clearly the top dog, but Belfry is not far behind. Belfry is without a couple of starters right now due to suspension, but that will be short lived. At full strength, Belfry makes this gap fairly small.

 

Then there is a little larger gap to LexCath, and then a similar gap on to Central.

 

I think those 4 teams are the cream of the crop and I would love to see a series of games between the 4 of them. After them, the next gap is a little wider where you have Caldwell and Tilghman and then a wide gap to the interchangeable Corbin, Etown and Russell.

 

At this point, Bell Co would be a good distance behind those 3.

 

Well first off I'm back after and 8 year suspension. That has to be a Guru record. I promise to be a model poster. Enough of that. Of the top 10 ten teams in 3-A is there a breakdown of each region they come out of. I'm sure it's changed in all these years.

PP92 I was just wondering. I'll have to agree with your statement on Robbins. Was lucky enough to see a clip of a play he made Friday vs. Danville and all I could think was WOW!!!!

Boyle Co, Belfry and LexCath are too close to call presently but time will tell.

Lex Catholic could be 1 and 5 if they do not get better on def. The teams they have coming up are all pretty good. Cover Catholic, Madison Central, and Cooper who destroyed HHS. I don't care how good you should be if you start 1 and 5 that can destroy a teams morale. They have to win a couple of these games, because they still have Boyle and Southwest.

It's crazy to think that either Boyle Co, LexCath, or Central will get bounced in the second round of the playoffs. At this point, the West looks like a warzone compared to the East.

 

I think Belfry's a solid favorite to get back to Bowling Green. Russell, Corbin & Bell Co. will have to step up their game to derail the Pirates.

I'm just glad to have some reinforcements. Myself, @DevilPride and @GOREDDEVILS are pretty heavily outnumbered on here by Rams and Tomcats. There's even a Musketeer or two around here somewhere.
