Louisville shot themselves in the foot too many times today to get the win.

It's hard to think about the bright spots for all of the junk. But I think this team has potential. But that OL is poop on a stick and better figure it out soon.

I know there wasn't much time, but you have to have a final possible chance. No idea what Petrino was thinking when he called the last timeout when he did.

Two turnovers were the difference, that makes this one tough to swallow.

 

Defense was very solid most of the day. Auburn had success running the ball because their lines were just better.

 

I believe the Lamar Jackson era has started at UofL.

BUT... Petrino just said in his post game interview that he asked an official on the sideline about the clock and the official told him it would restart after the penalty. So he took the timeout.

The UL defensive front seven, which I've heard so much about, did not make it to the game. Auburn gutted them with the inside running game. UL showed a lot of gumption in coming back and having a --- long ----chance at the end. Aubiurn had a tough ----not saying it wasn't warranted---- call wehn the TD got called back for holding. Auburn's QB did not play well. Jackson seems to be the future for UL , a bright future.

I thought it was a fun and exciting game to watch (after the 2 big mistakes LOL). Super, super excited about Jackson!!

 

The font on the jerseys though… really?!? There are a lot of new guys and I couldn’t read to tell who was part of the play.

 

Hope Quick is ok – if anyone finds info about his injury please post.
