BYU QB Beau Hoge

Featured Replies

Sounds like Hoge is doing good. In one scrimmage he was 5 of 5 for 56 yards. Another qb is Koy Detmer Jr. he is also a Freshman.

Nice job Beau! Can't wait to see him have a great career at BYU!

Does anyone know if BYU plans on redshirting him?

A SR starts and a sophomore is listed as the #2 .

Unless he is a legitimate threat to play that I have to think they'll redshirt him. But I haven't heard anything official. Perhaps it will be like Drew Barker in his first year, where he prepped and dressed each week, but everyone knew he was going to redshirt unless something disastrous happened.

Good news, I hope he does great things at BYU!!

I am really glad to see Beau have such success so early in his career and hope we all are able to follow his college career here on BGP.

BYU just beat Nebraska on a last second touchdown by their backup QB.

Beau must like the winning side of that better

Scored his first TD on a 2 yard run against Wagner.

Also had a 47-yard TD pass.

Really cool to hear. He was one of my favorite Birds ever. Just fun to watch....

Good for him. I hope he has a fantastic college career. Looking forward to following his progress.

Way to go Beau!!!!!!

Ty Detmer is the new OC at BYU.
