August 31, 201511 yr What do you think happens on band buses? Daughter rode on coed track and cross-country buses from grades 6 through 12. Never an issue.

A couple of the best youth roller hockey coaches I had as a volunteer director were women. HOckey-mom's who could coach to be more precise. Of course the teams were co-ed anyway. So not sure how or why one would draw such a distict line of division.

August 31, 201511 yr My Senior year of high school the varsity baseball coach was a women. Really? I don't remember that.
August 31, 201511 yr The Girls and Boys basketball team from NY that we played in the Beach ball Tourney a few years ago had a woman coach and she had been there about 10+ years.

August 31, 201511 yr Ex-roller derby chicks? I do not think they ever flew an elbow on the roller rink floor. More ice hockey fans from the north who could als teach at the youth level. The only he and she issue we had was that the older teens and young adults would use a corner of the building (it was normally an indoor soccer building with no real 'locker rooms') to change into their roller gear - that does use a specific pant. It was a coed area and the players would usually have compression shorts on. No issues except one grandmother who was somewhat aghast at the activity. Parents never thought twice and no one else ever thought about it it seemed.
