I guess not having your one true stud is going to kill Frankfort this season. Congrats to Paintsville. I believe you win no matter if the stud missing player would have been able to play.

Panthers lost another player tonight. Their other QB went down.

Panthers just dont have the number... I think like 5 of the 24 kids are seniors and one that plays soccer is done for the year, Robinson went down and now another senior is out. This team is so inexperienced it not funny. I just hope the kids can hang in there and not get discouraged about playing football.

What do they have coming next few years ?

FHS will lose again next week. Estill is sound and big.

It's another huge gap the middle school is full of 6th and 7th graders they may have 2 or 3 8th graders... I know Frankfort is normally low on numbers "dirty 30" but numbers are really low.

Interesting. Don't mistake this win for a win over the usual Frankfort team. As others have pointed out, this is not your usual Frankfort team. With Robinson out, I am beginning to think Somerset 2014 is what we might see out of Frankfort 2015 - a good program that has a very tough year.

I think that is a fair statement. We do indeed get better every time the ball is snapped. Kash gets a lot of the attention, as he should, but I'm telling you that the addition of Kent Phelps being back this year has made us an entirely different team. Belcher was a good back and a good player, but Phelps is on an entirely different level in all aspects. It's exciting to watch Paintsville football once again.

I would agree. After seeing Paintsville last season and with the return Phelps it makes this team a lot better.

This isn't your typical Frankfort team. Injuries to a very slim roster makes things difficult. Foley and staff just need to keep guys focused on getting better each week and get ready to make a run come district play.
