As a Bulls fan, it's disappointing to see news like this out of a relatively down-to-earth and humble kid like Rose. Not saying he's guilty, but when he gets associated with this type of behavior, whether it be true or not, it's a definite blow to his character.

 

I think his character is actually helping him out a ton. Considering the story and the content of the story one could argue that this is a huge story that deserves everyday coverage. Instead even the media seems to be giving this the "yeah, right" treatment.

That's true. Along with the amount of time since the victim claims it took place and the holes in her story that I've seen dissected on twitter.

With the way he babied his leg when he was coming back from his injury I have a super hard time believing he'd organize and participate in a gang rape. He was reportedly cleared to practice and all kinds of stuff and still wouldn't do it because he claimed he wasn't healed yet. He was branded soft and talked about in all kinds of ways because of how he was to some overly cautious about his leg.

 

That's why I say it doesn't make sense for him to participate in something that violent when he wouldn't do a simple uncontested layup for the team in practice.

If this is "proven" to be false, I hope the alleged victim is prosecuted. Didn't that happen in a case like this sometime in the past year or so?
