Matt Jones for Congress?

What's his decision?

It will be hard to leave the empire but you're talking about a guy with no wife or kids and may never have either, also it would cement his family legacy of legal scholars. But again, can he really leave the empire he built in the peak of basketball and football? The question is KSR enough power/prestige to fuel him?

He's already made his decision

I agree.

He said on Tuesday that if it wasn't for the radio show, it would be an easy decision to run. I haven't listened to today's show yet, but everything I've heard leads me to believe he's made up his mind.

I watched his Periscope last night. It is pretty cool if you are into KSR. It is more behind the scenes, more frank, a little more PG-13. I think he is going to run.

I actually like his show but hate him on UK pregame.

Pre campaigning is a wise strategy.

IMO KSR will die a slow death if he were to run and win...he is definitely the glue to that band of merry men.

The radio show will die, but I think the website will continue to do pretty well.

Agreed. Other writers make up a larger part of the website. But the radio show would be over.

I wonder what kind of coin he pulls in from radio?

Congress wouldn't make up for it. Isn't he syndicated basically in 90% of the state.

He would be taking a 30-50% pay cut but it's about power to him.

I wouldn't say that much (not here in NKY , for example) but he is continuing to add affiliates.

I think the radio show has just over 30 affiliates at the moment.

Northern Kentucky is probably the biggest area where there is not a major affiliate.
