In Boyle County's defence, I'm not sure they will see a defense like that for the rest of the season. The offense for the Rebels have a ton of potential so don't be surprised if they hit stride.

Boyle County comes in 1-0 after a 21-19 victory over Central Hardin in a chess match sort of game.

 

Bell County comes in 1-0 after a 41-7 domination of Middlesboro on Friday night.

 

This will be the 2nd Game of the PBK Rebel Bowl at Boyle County on Friday night. This game will immediately follow the game between Mercer County and Lafayette.

Can't believe this thread us so dead. Just a few years ago these two hooked up in three of the greatest games in the playoffs those seasons. I look for Tito be just as competitive this time.

Seriously though I think Bell creates some interesting matchup problems for Boyle. Boyle is not a very big team and Bell County is very strong up front.

 

With that said Bell is too flat footed to hang with Boyle for 4 Quarters and I think the Boyle skill players just are on a different level. Robbins will give the Bobcats fits when they spread them out.

 

I think Bell will give plenty of video to Coach Smith to break down, but in the end too many athletes and too much Josiah Robbins.

Everyone is predicting a Boyle blowout. Bell County folks are quietly sitting back like, all right then. I don't know. I just don't see a Boyle blowout. I'm like you and think it will be a competitive game. I could see it being like last Saturday's game against Central Hardin. I'll be happy with a victory and no injuries.
