There's always transitions. There are some good middle schoolers coming in. Mallory Koehler (think that's her name) was up playing some varsity last year as a 7th grader and will likely contribute a lot this year. I've seen her play, she will be good. You may lose a few older but it's more of a question of what's coming in behind them.

I know there was some complaints about others not passing so they can get their points. The coach should hopefully reign this in and if so they will be tough to beat. They will win games just do to there talent but when they are in those dog fights that's when coming together as a team will pay off and hopefully that will be the case.

While I agree that Gray was an important player and did her role great, I am not sure that Clos, Jolly or Kramer moving to the PG changes their opportunities to score all that much. Especially Clos, her shooting is her strength. No matter what position a gifted player plays they find a way to get the ball in the hoop. I believe new leadership will develop, one of those girls will run the point, and they will all get to reach their personal scoring goals.

Is this accurate ? I thought Jolly missed an entire season ? What is her career total right now ?

Jolly is at 710 and Kramer is at 707 total. Jolly did not play varsity her freshman year and Kramer missed a third of last season due to injury.

Campbell Co is a strong contender this season. They had chances vs Mason Co last year in the semis of the region and played them toe to toe. With all the experience returning Mason vs Campbell will be fun to watch. Mason's new coach has inherited a talented group as well. Their press at the state tournament last yer was one of the best I have seen in a while

I agree. It will be fun to watch. CC had the lead most of the game until about 4 minutes left when Kramer was injured. They had a chance to tie the game with a minute left when an iffy offensive push-off was called on Clos that turned the ball over to Mason and two free throws were made.

Taylor missed the entire year with an injury, yes. But returned as 10th and 11th grader as the 2nd leading scorer each of those years. Yes she and Kylie have a good chance to get the 1000 club, but I am sure they will be more focused on helping their team get to the sweet 16 club. Campbell shaping into a nice team, good luck to them!

I had the pleasure of chatting with Kylie this weekend about her future in basketball. What a lovely young lady. Very level headed.

Male comes to Campbell for the girl's first scrimmage before the season starts. it will be a nice test to see if they can keep up with the best in the state.
