CC only had one senior. She played a lot of minutes, but didn't score a ton. I think CC will have what it takes to repeat. They have been working hard at Basketball and life. Its cool to see them come together. Good luck to all teams.

Sure young man :thumb: From what I've read this far it's pretty much wrapped up Mason is #1 and Campbell and Scott are a distance 2&3 unless you reside in NKY then it's 1a Mason and 1b Campbell and Scott is a distant 2. If you are from the 40th it's Mason GRC Campbell Scott.

 

The only love for Bracken is coming from is coming from polarbear98 and Brooksvillebear. Rightfully so :lol2: I don't know much about their new coach but I have heard about Bailey Cummins and I've seen her play more than once and from what ive seen as long as she is on the floor the Bracken girls always have a chance. Mix her with the two bigs and the youthful guards I'd be more than concerned if I was Mason Campbell GRC or Scott.

 

Besides the Bracken thread there isn't much being said about them and that's why I say they are being over looked. By reading some of these threads if a person had no other knowledge but what's on here Mason Co should already be making hotel reservations in NKY for the state tournament.

How do you see their line-ups stacking up with Campbell and Mason? How many positions will they be filling this year with the loss of seniors and how many minutes did those who will step up play this upcoming year?

 

Lexi Stapleton will be good. She will raise the level of the Scott play and bring them to a place where they can compete with Mason County and Campbell. As I said I don't think Scott will be better, but just not a wide margin.

I think Campbell will have more scoring options than Scott, as they return 4 players who averaged 10 points or more. Their guard play is among the best in the region and every starter can score if needed. Should be interesting to see how both teams match-up this season

I would put the top three in this order for preseason.

 

1. Campbell County

2. Mason County

3. Scott

 

I give Campbell just a little (razor) edge because I love the way they played defense the last couple of times I saw them play.

Kylie Kramer and Taylor Clos are ranked in the top ten for the 10th region. I believe they will be the leaders for the team this year.

Watched many games over the last several years and I love the offense CC ran against mam to man. One of the best I have ever seen, good coaching.
