Jumper_Dad
Anyone try these yet? I just updated my computer today to Windows 10 (Free update from Microsoft) took about an hour over Wi-Fi. I received a notification a few weeks ago asking if I wanted the update and if so to reserve it then. Yesterday I received another notification that I could schedule my down load when ever I want it to. Just playing around it seems to be pretty solid, Edge Explorer working much smoother than Chrome or Microsoft Explorer in the past.

I recently upgraded to win10Pro but to be honest I haven't even tried the edge browser yet. The first thing I did was install chrome.

Far less issues with "Script Issues" or other things that were occasionally freezing up my computer using chrome. I go back and forth between Edge and Firefox but have less issues than with chrome. BaseballIsLife
Be aware there are some things that may not work right as the kinks may not work right. I like to play a few games here and there via Steam and I found that after I updated to Windows 10 a few of them stopped working so I reverted back to Windows 8. Just a disclaimer but after you upgrade to Windows 10 you have 30 days to decide if you want to keep it or rever back. If you decide to revert back before the 30 days you will still have the option of upgrading again to Windows 10 if you so choose to.

98NCCalum
For the life of me I don't understand why anyone would use Firefox. Edge is nothing special but the face is pretty. It's basically IE with some typical changed and enhancements. I still use chrome as well. It's still far and away the best browser out.
DragonFire
For the life of me I don't understand why anyone would use Firefox. Edge is nothing special but the face is pretty. It's basically IE with some typical changed and enhancements. I still use chrome as well. It's still far and away the best browser out. For me personally, I was using Firefix before Chrome existed, and I have it configured exactly how I want it. I use Chrome as well, for when I want to have two things I can see at once (rather than two Firefox windows). If I were starting fresh, I'd be exclusively on the Chrome train now, and I make it the primary on any client's PC I install. But I've got a comfort with how I have Firefox configured, hence I still use it predominantly.

Fear the Nation
I uninstalled windows 10 and went back to win 7. Win 10 was pegging my processor out at 100 even on my brand new laptop that has more than enough speed, harddrive and ram. Win 10 is not ready yet. Microsoft continues it's track record of releasing a half concocted operating system and using the mass public as beta testers. But on the brighter side at least this time it was free! TAC
My work systems are so outdated I'm afraid they will not work with 10. So I'm still waiting for the go ahead. Not a chrome fan. Just cause it's not what I'm used to. The Mrs. TAC has that god awful 8 or whatever is is. I can't use her laptop

You may have another issue. I'm running win10pro on an i3 1.8ghz Intel NUC and have no issues with the processor being maxed out, even while playing 1080p movies and several applications running in the background. I came from win7pro and liked it, but now that I'm getting used to win10pro I like it better. I'm not trying to convince one way or another, but your processor shouldn't be maxed out with win10 at all. I noticed no difference at all between win7 and 10 in terms of the amount of memory or processing power being used to run the same apps.
