July 31, 201511 yr For those doubting Wheeler he has already began throwing again. The success rate on TJ surgery these days is very high. Holding onto Bruce isn't going to make this team a contender next year. I love the way he's swinging the bat and he very well may have finally turned the corner but I'm personally just ready for change. I'm willing to take the risk and hope that the Reds can find some bats before 2017. If they do get Wheeler they better trade Leake no doubt. Wheeler plus Flores or Nimmo or Conforto would work. Most likely it would be Flores. He and Suarez could form a nice all venezualan duo up the middle for years to come. Flores has a ton of ability but hasn't put it all together yet although his pop has been impressive.

If they don't trade anyone else this team will be set back for a long long time. Sometimes the only way to move forward is to take a step back and rebuild. The Reds are past that point, and if they don't catch up tomorrow, they are screwed.
