July 31, 201511 yr I would be happy if it was Pollock, Archie Bradley, and one or two other prospects in return. In fact, I'd be ecstatic. It sounds like the D-Backs are pretty set on acquiring him and I like that the Reds aren't giving in easy. Hopefully the D-Backs over pay a bit. Word is they want him because they are extremely confident they can get him resigned to a long term deal in part because of the new TV deal they have.

July 31, 201511 yr Can't imagine them trading Pollock. I would imagine any package would have to center around Bradley or Blair. I've heard they are willing to move Pollack but I can't see it. Love to have him. I'd rather have Blair than Bradley but I'd really just rather have 2 or 3 of their best hitting prospects. I think they end up with Wheeler in a package for Bruce, they need to make sure the Chapman deal brings back some bats.

I highly doubt they do Wheeler and Nimmo, or Wheeler and Conforto, so I don't think it would be possible to add Flores. The package I would like is either Conforto and Flores or Nimmo and Flores.

July 31, 201511 yr Seeing the Mets talk Wheeler with the Reds took me off guard. I'm back and forth on Bruce, but a big fan of Wheeler. I think with the emergence of DeGrom, Syndergaard and Matz people forget the work Wheeler did and the ceiling he has.
