July 31, 201511 yr I'd counter that they don't remember the Bruce of 2011, 2012, & 2013 then. He's the most consistent production you're going to find. Every year (2014 excluded) it's .250 with 30 HRs and ~85 RBI.True, but they are Mets fans...you can't reason with Mets fans!!!

July 31, 201511 yr I'm intrigued about what this offer from the Diamondbacks for Chapman looks like. I like the thought of Pollock in Cincinnati. His trending numbers look very good imo. He's on pace to hit 18 HRs and have 73 RBIs with 37 SBs. Only on pace to strikeout 104 times with .361 obp and .462 slg. He hits in the 2 hole for the DBacks so he is probably a good situational hitter. If the Reds have to trade Jay Bruce which it looks like is going to happen he can take over RF. I don't know what kind of arm he has and he is playing CF for Arizona but he can probably handle RF. If Billy Hamilton can't improve his obp. his days with the big club could be over soon anyway and Pollock could slide back to CF. His HR numbers would probably improve in GABP as well. Another great thing about Pollock is he is making only $.5195m and is controllable through 2019. Make it happen Walt.
