July 30, 201511 yr Getting rid of Arroyos contract helps the Braves trade a little. Still disappointed. I think the Braves acquired the best pitcher (the Cuban guy) for a very reasonable contract. I like Alex Wood, but the Cuban has higher upside from what I understand.
July 30, 201511 yr Regardless of the Reds activity (or inactivity) this has been the best deadline I can remember. Lots of big-time deals. I haven't given it too much thought, but off the top of my head I can't come up with a team that has acquired more talent at the deadline than the Blue Jays. Tulo & Price? Those two guys are the best of the best at their position. That's awesome.

For some reason I thought he was a pitcher, but evidently he's not. Either way, it looks like ATL will have him under team control for a fairly affordable price (considering what LA paid him as a signing bonus).
