SK is good in every sport. SKs basketball team lost to every NKY team. Holmes,CC,Dixie,Ryle,Cooper,Campbell Co...

 

Really? We beat Ryle, Scott, Campbell County and Conner. Basketball no excuse SK was had several injuries and 2 kids quit the team. They still have a state trophy in their basketball trophy case stop by and check it out sometime!

Well they should be! The school is huge!!! I would be embarrassed if they weren't competitive in all sports playing against the majority of schools that are much smaller. I'm actually surprised they don't bring home more trophies. Especially after moving out of the 9th region!

 

I don't know the answer to this...but is SK the largest school in the 10th?

What if your program was near collapse, morale was horrible and you had to recruit players from other sports to fill out a roster? Would you build a program or continue to throw gas on it?

 

Well you just described HHS' softball program before I took over. That's not an arrogant response at all. It's answers your question.

Far as SK schedule goes we play Cooper and Conner both 6A teams and I think we will get more out of playing CAL this year or years past NewCath.

Most of us know why SK didn't play FTH and it had everything to do with a disagreement between coaches, not out of fear as many FTH folks believe. Some SK fans believe we played HC because we were losing kids to them from the middle school teams. Not sure about that but could be true. Not sure why we don't play CovCath. Not sure that we gain anything from playing them but not opposed to it.

Playing CCH on a regular basis would be nothing but positive for the SK football program. Even if SK got smeared every game by CCH, it would be still be a positive. CCH is and has been respected for a long time, just because of their brutal schedules. They have been playing the big boys in Ohio for decades. SK will gain more respect for losing to the big boys, than to win against the smaller schools.
