Let's look at how SK has done vs NKY 6a in the past 10 years

Ryle has a 6-5 record vs SK and has been to the state finals

Dixie has a 4-2 record and has been to the state finals.

Ryle and Dixie has done the same thing with a winning record over SK in the same span And class.

Which is why I think it's silly to think of SK as being the best 6A team in NKY. They have done less with more recently than other schools in the area. I really thought SK was on their way to winning district twice in a row going into last year and actually winning some games in the playoffs but once again they couldn't win district and was bounced early again in the playoffs by another NKY school.

 

SK needs to win and win often in the post season to be mentioned as a top tier team. But as of right now they aren't even the reigning NKY top 6A team. A current 5A team

holds that distinction.

Top programs don't go to the state final then 3 years later post a 2 win season.

Top programs don't go to the state final then 3 years later post a 2 win season.

They also don't go to state final and for the next 6 years never make it past the 3rd round of the playoffs.

SK has respect just like any other school does, but 1 very good year out if 50 years of football doesn't make a team elite.

Dixie is 21 games over .500 life time vs SK. I would think most school are + .500 life time vs SK. 40 years of real bad football.

Maybe the question that should be presented is:

What teams do not deserve as much respect as SK? Lol

Wow 15 pages of parent's bickering over who is the best. Really? I would be ashamed. These are children playing ball. These games mean more to you all than they do our boy's from the sound of it. I think these boy's from all teams act more mature than you parent's on here acting like this. Shameful

There is clearly a lot of people jealous of SK football!

My take from 16 pages of this and I have no dog in the fight....... there are so many people who "dislike" 1 fan that they sit on a blog site and continuously bash a program who has kids who do nothing but get out there and bust their behinds day after day, week after week just to have people saying they do not deserve respect because they are not a top tier team. Shame on all of you guys seriously. I think we all have came to the conclusion that looks something like this:

 

Dixie "owns" Sk right? Maybe they do, but is it necessary to beat a dead dog? This is gonna be the year that Cooper beats Sk, hey maybe they will good luck to the Jags, hoping they have a injury free season. Ryle has one of the best RB in NKY, maybe this will be their year. All we know for a fact out of 16 pages is that all of u guys let 1 person make u hate Simon Kenton. Just remember at the end of the day, the kids are getting on here and reading this stuff and how would you like it if someone was on here bashing your program like this? UK#1 fan knows what to do to get under your guys skin just ignore him if you dislike him so much. I am not posting this so all of you guys can come after me next, i am honestly just shocked that's all.

So when SKfan says SK player will crush or said team is bad. We are going to let that go?? If you can dish it out be ready for the response.

No, that's not what I am saying, that def shouldn't be said either and maybe one of the moderators can step in and decide when he is going to far. But obviously you guys don't like when he says it so why would anyone wanna be like him? That's all i am saying. Allow me to enlighten you to the type of posts the guy you are defending posts. Last year Cooper scrimmaged Dixie before the start of

the season. UK posted in the Cooper/Dixie scrimmage thread that "The best players at the game

were the SK players that were in the stands"

You are missing it then. I don't see any of us bashing every program or kids at all. Actually I have said over and over again how good I think Racke and Powell are etc. there is only one person on this site that bashes every other team that doesn't have SK on their helmets and belittles them all as well as

I never said you did mention a kids name I just responded to what mustang75 said about a player gonna crush another player. So no need to enlighten me but thanks. I just gave my opinion that's all. I've done nothing that you guys haven't done in this thread. In no way an I defending him, I'm just defending the young men that play for this team that's all.

Again one person making g comments shouldn't cause 50 of you to bash SK. Im a proud NewCath alum from a NewCath family loved the blue amd gold and played 4 years for Bob. Im not a SK homer but am now an Independence resident and see a ton of good at SK and look forward to my kids attending there.
