Predict UL's record

Featured Replies

^ As a follow-up to this. News broke last night that Fields was cleared to start practice. If he can get back to playing shape quickly, Louisville could have a nasty front seven.

Also just saw on Twitter that Bama was after him, if he didn't get cleared at UofL.

A lot of it will be about Bonnafon finding consistency early. After coming back from injury, he looked calm, collected, and confident in the game up at Notre Dame... then in the next game against Kentucky he had an absolute disaster of a first quarter and was benched in favor of a guy who hadn't played since September.

... or for Tyler Ferguson to pop up and be a star immediately, but I haven't seen anything to indicate that something he's going to be capable of.

I just don't see the offense being brilliant enough this season for Louisville to find more than 8 wins on that schedule.

^I'll be satisfied with 7-5, happy with 8-4, and ecstatic about anything beyond that.

Anyway Louisville upsets Auburn?

A voodoo curse, maybe?

Something amazing would have to happen. Everything would have to break Louisville's way and Bonnafon would have to become Little Bridgewater in the next two months.

0-12

Yeah!!!!

I'll say 7 wins and a bowl win.

vs. Auburn in Atlanta (Sept. 5)Loss

vs. Houston (Sept. 12)Win

vs. Clemson (Sept. 17)Loss

vs. Samford (Sept. 26)Win

at NC State (Oct. 3)Win

at Florida State (Oct. 17)Loss

vs. Boston College (Oct. 24)Win

at Wake Forest (Oct. 30)Win

vs. Syracuse (Nov. 7)Win

vs. Virginia (Nov. 14)Win

at Pittsburgh (Nov. 21)Win

at Kentucky (Nov. 28)Win

9-3

7-5. Losses against Auburn, Clemson, Florida State, Pittsburgh and Kentucky. I say the Pitt and Kentucky losses happen due to being on the road and running out of gas after 6 & 7 weeks without a bye week and/or a "gimme" game.

Unless they're markedly better than last year, playing Wake is roughly equivalent to playing Akron; apart from Samford, it's as close to a gimme as anything on the schedule. But yeah, lots of road. There's definitely room for a slip up at Pitt.

I took 6-6 for UK and will do the same for UL. I don't think that Petrino has the same Miami pipeline that Strong had since that shady recruiter left town.
