Really like both, but Hustle might be my favorite beer from either place.

I was at Rhinegeist for their 2 year anniversary a couple of weeks. They released a different beer every hour that was just special for the event. They had several soaked in a bourbon barrel. I decided then that they should just stick to what their best at, IPA and other Ales.

^The barrel aged Barleywine was good.

I haven't had a barleywine in over a decade. I had one before I had gotten to that stage of beer appreciation, and I've not gone back, haha. Any suggestions for a first one to try out with the interest of getting into barleywines (that doesn't necessarily taste like I'm licking the bottom of a gym shoe)?

I visited Rhingeist this past Saturday for the release of Saber Tooth Tiger. It's 8.5% DIPA, very tropical and finishes dry. It's now my favorite. Too bad it's limited.

I was there Saturday too from about 3:00 - 6:00pm.

Couldn't agree with you more about Saber Tooth. Definitely my favorite Rhinegeist beer. Might be my favorite over all too, between that and Three Floyd's Zombie Dust. Bought me two of the bombers. Going to share one with a buddy during our fantasy draft.

I should've bought two.

Did a private, behind the scenes tour, with a couple of guys on Saturday of Rhinegeist. Loved it.

Tour guide said that they blew through their 10 year business plan in 18 months. I believe it.

Also, she hooked us up with a beer fresh off the canning line that day. Date was 10/17/15. I'll admit, I couldn't tell a difference but it was the "freshest beer" I've ever had. It was a Zen.

I've not had Madtree before, but I have now been able to try some Rheingeist at our craft beer fest here in Bardstown this past Saturday. Tried the Truth and Franz beers, both of which were quite good.

Had to open the thread to figure the title out.........I DON'T drink beer, so I'll be moving on....have at boys.
