Decided to treat myself and bought a ticket to Rhinegeist's Hopgeist Double IPA Beer Festival on Halloween. Really looking forward to it and thankful that my lady is dropping me off and picking me up haha!

And you call yourself a Catholic! :bag:

Well, I do partake in distilled spirits every once in a while. :lol2:

If you wind up getting that as a birthday present, let me know! I went with the VIP.

MadTree is apparently not going to be offering Gnarly Brown any longer.

MadTree Brewing - Gnarly Gno More

I saw that yesterday as well. I'm a little curious what the real back story is there. I can understand deciding to not can it anymore, if it wasn't selling as well as they would like. But to remove it completely, only to potentially bring it back with a different name later (probably can canned but at least tapped).

I have only had one of those, so not really disappointed. Glad to see they are canning PSA and Identity Crisis.

Apparently it's a trademark issue.

That's stupid it's not like somebody is going to mistake their wine for the beer.

From what I understand if they don't fight it and protect the name of their brand now, then it sets a precedent that they maybe can't later when something else comes along that is more similar.

The Truth!

My favorite "everyday" beer, as my good buddy would describe it.

Did you know that was basically a home brewed recipe by one of the Founders of Rhinegeist? Now it's by far their most popular in regards to sales and I'd guess the most popular in the tri-state in regards to sales too.

Only dislike is it can lead to a lot of GAS !!! My wife hates when I drink it. LOL
